This all-in-one camp allows kids to develop fishing skills and boating knowledge while learning how to navigate a jon boat safely. Emphasizing ethical angling and responsible boating practices, campers will explore local waterways with hands-on experience and expert guidance. Each camper will leave with a fishing rod and tackle box to continue their adventures responsibly beyond camp.

Get your magnifying glasses ready for a week of outdoor discovery in Insect Investigators! Campers will explore the fascinating world of insects and plants, learning how even the tiniest creatures play a big role in nature. They’ll conduct a fun ‘bug habitat’ experiment, where they observe how different types of soil, leaves, and rocks create ideal homes for various insects.

Lighthouse offers a wide array of full and half-day summer camps from June through August for young writers ages eight to 18. In this hands-on, interactive camp, campers will dive deep into the fascinating world of crime scene investigation, using the tools of real forensic experts to uncover hidden clues and solve mysteries. Campers will explore forensic techniques using chemistry, biology, and physics to analyze evidence and crack tough cases. Every day brings a new mystery to solve, and it’s up to the campers to investigate the scene, gather evidence, and put the pieces together.
