Forensic Science: Junior Detective Lab
Calling all young detectives! Step into the thrilling world of forensic science in the Forensic Science: Junior Detective Lab! In this hands-on, interactive camp, campers will dive deep into the fascinating world of crime scene investigation, using the tools of real forensic experts to uncover hidden clues and solve mysteries.
Throughout the week, campers will explore forensic techniques using chemistry, biology, and physics to analyze evidence and crack tough cases. They’ll get hands-on experience with fingerprint analysis, blood spatter patterns, and DNA extraction, all while working together as a team of junior detectives. Every day brings a new mystery to solve, and it’s up to the campers to investigate the scene, gather evidence, and put the pieces of the puzzle together!
From examining mysterious substances in the lab to decoding secret messages, this camp will have students thinking critically, sharpening their problem-solving skills, and embracing their inner detectives. With exciting challenges and real-world science, campers will see how forensic experts use cutting-edge techniques to solve even the trickiest cases. It’s an action-packed week of investigation, teamwork, and discovery that will have campers hooked from the first clue!

Who: Campers between the ages of 8 and 12 (We offer more camps for ages 4-14)
What: Project-based, hands-on, STEAM-focused summer camps
Where: Apollo Academy in Hyde Park (1309 W Swann Ave Tampa, FL 33606) 8 weeks of summer camps from June 16th to August 8th
When: Camps are 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday; Half-day options available. Aftercare until 5pm is available for an additional cost.
