Jewelry Innovators: Design & Shine
Unleash your creativity and discover the art of jewelry making in Jewelry Innovators: Design & Shine! This camp takes young designers on a journey through the history of jewelry, exploring different cultures and mediums while learning how to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces. Campers will experiment with various techniques—from beading and wirework to metal stamping and clay modeling—crafting unique jewelry that expresses their personal style.
But it’s not just about making beautiful pieces—campers will also dive into the world of entrepreneurship, learning how to market and price their creations, design their own jewelry brand, and even pitch their designs in a fun, end-of-week showcase. From understanding trends to developing a business plan, this camp teaches the full cycle of going from creative inspiration to running a mini jewelry business.
By the end of the week, campers will have built their own jewelry collections, explored different styles and techniques, and learned how to turn their passion for design into a business. Whether they dream of being a designer or an entrepreneur, Jewelry Innovators will inspire campers to create, design, and shine!

Who: Campers between the ages of 9 and 14 (We offer more camps for ages 4-14)
What: Project-based, hands-on, STEAM-focused summer camps
Where: Apollo Academy in Hyde Park (1309 W Swann Ave Tampa, FL 33606) 8 weeks of summer camps from June 16th to August 8th
When: Camps are 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday; Half-day options available. Aftercare until 5pm is available for an additional cost.
