CodeFu Tampa is On-site Kids Coding, Robotics & Video Game Development Afterschool Program designed to bring students in K-8th grade education in STEM, Coding & Computer Science conveniently to the classrooms.
The Art of CodeFu aims to transform screen time into a FUN LEARNING environment by guiding your child through a variety of engaging and immersive activities! With each new season of CodeFu programs, students will strengthen their coding FUNdamentals using NEW programs and techniques that unlocks computer literacy skills and foster technical development. CodeFu kids build increasingly important tech skills they can use to create, code, and innovate their way to future readiness!

CodeFu Kids explore an exciting world of animation magic, where students focus on front-end programming skills and game design, becoming true creators—designing, building, and publishing their own pixel‐style video games. They’ll craft characters, worlds, challenges and level mechanics creating a unique story while building confidence and foundational coding design thinking skills.
WHAT THEY’LL DO
• Advanced Level Design: Multi‐level worlds, boss battles, secret areas
• Gameplay Systems: Power‐ups, health, checkpoints, and difficulty tuning
• Art & Animation: Custom sprites, tile sets, and cut‐scene storytelling
• Playtesting & Iteration: Debugging, balancing, and user feedback loops
• Showcase Ready: Publishable projects students can play at home and share

• Coding FUNdamentals: Events, conditionals, variables/data, loops, testing, debugging, decomposition

Coding Development & Game Design

CodeFu kids spark their creative adventure discovering the building blocks of and magic of coding. They will be introduced to an intuitive and playful programming environment designed for young learners to ignite self expression through interactive animations and video games. Each week our students build unique programs & games that utilize block based codes to set their animations characters and scenes aglow with personality, motions and boundless imagination.
