The B.A.R.K. program is a virtual learning experience designed to teach young animal lovers how to be their pet’s very best friend and an advocate for all animals!
What: 45-minute virtual course
When: 2nd Wednesday of every month at 4:00 p.m.
Who: For kids Grade K and up
Cost: $10 per participant
When you register your young animal lover for the B.A.R.K. Program, participants will learn how to speak dog by understanding pet body language, how to play in a way that both pets and children will enjoy, and how to prevent the occurrence of bites. It’s a fun program that keeps everyone safe and happy.
Join us for a quick dip into social-emotional and executive function skills. What do those terms mean and why are schools focused on them these days? Our Early Literacy Librarians will start with background information and suggest practical activities that help develop self-regulation and more. Bring your questions!
