Canterbury School of Florida

Founded in 1968, Canterbury School of Florida is a co-educational, college preparatory, independent day school, located on two campuses in St. Petersburg, Florida. Canterbury serves students in Prekindergarten (starting at age 3) - Grade 12, placing a heavy focus on academics, character education, community, and spirituality in the Episcopal tradition. Canterbury is recognized for its focus on student success, providing unique opportunities to learn through exploration, conversation, and connection. Our curriculum is built so that our students, their families, and our faculty and staff can work toward the same goal: “Enlightenment with Compassion.” Our three core values of academics, character, and community help us achieve this goal.
