Sprouts “For the Love of Reading” Mini-Camp

During this four-day mini-camp onsite at our Dade City Learning Center, students will get "lost" in literature, build on their knowledge of foundational literacy skills, and creatively interact with books through art, Readers’ Theater plays, and nature-based activities. Students will learn strategies to deepen their comprehension of texts, draw and write in response to literature, and build their vocabulary through meaningful cooperative learning activities.
This mini-camp will take place onsite at our Dade City Learning Center, from Monday, June 20th - Thursday, June 23rd. It is best for learners aged 7-9, or rising 2nd-4th graders. Because we value the power of individualized programs that allow our teachers to support the needs of every student, all camps have a six student max. Each student will receive one-on-one instruction and have the opportunity to work collaboratively in groups!
