Game Masters: Create, Play & Pitch Your Own Board Game
Are you ready to design the next big board game? In Game Masters, campers will dive into the exciting world of board game creation, combining creativity, strategy, and entrepreneurship to design their own unique games. This camp is perfect for those who love playing games and want to take it a step further by becoming game creators!
Campers will begin by exploring different styles of board games—from strategy and adventure to puzzles and storytelling. Then, campers will work in teams to create their very own board game, from developing the rules and designing the gameplay to crafting the artwork and building the game pieces.
But the fun doesn’t stop there—campers will also learn valuable entrepreneurial skills by pitching their board game ideas to their peers, competing for the ultimate Players’ Choice Award! They’ll practice presentation skills, learn how to sell their ideas, and experience what it takes to launch a successful game.
Whether your camper dreams of becoming a game designer, artist, or future entrepreneur, Game Masters is the perfect place to turn those dreams into reality. By the end of the week, campers will walk away with a completed board game and the skills to bring any creative idea to life!ies!

Who: Campers between the ages of 8 and 12 (We offer more camps for ages 4-14)
What: Project-based, hands-on, STEAM-focused summer camps
Where: Apollo Academy in Hyde Park (1309 W Swann Ave Tampa, FL 33606) 8 weeks of summer camps from June 16th to August 8th
When: Camps are 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday; Half-day options available. Aftercare until 5pm is available for an additional cost.
