What is Among Us?
Among Us is a popular, non-violent game based on social deduction, where players complete tasks while trying to determine who has a hidden role. The gameplay focuses on observation, logic, communication, and reasoning — not action or combat.
Many parents recognize this style of game from classic group games such as Werewolf, Mafia, or Clue, where players use clues and discussion to reach conclusions.
How we use it in camp:
Students are not playing Among Us. Instead, they are learning how a similar type of game is designed and built using the Roblox Development platform, focusing on:
Game rules and structure
Fair play and balance
Logical decision-making
Collaboration and communication
