In Minecraft Modding: Next Level Creations, campers build on what they already love about Minecraft and take their creativity to the next step. This camp is all about making Minecraft worlds smarter, more interactive, and more exciting by creating advanced game features and seeing how they work together.
Instead of just adding basic items, campers design creations that do more. They make powerful weapons with special effects, create interactive tools, build structures that deploy automatically, and add game mechanics like projectiles, explosions, and behaviors that respond to player actions.
Throughout the week, campers work on projects such as:
Designing epic weapons with unique abilities
Creating interactive tools and special effects
Building structures like a “house in a box”
Adding game mechanics that react to what players do
While some familiarity with Minecraft or previous modding experience is helpful, campers are never left on their own. Our instructors provide hands-on guidance, adjust projects based on each camper’s experience, and help students turn ideas into working creations at their own pace.
Just like our other camps, time is balanced between computer-based creation and off-screen activities, including:
Planning and sketching ideas
Group problem-solving and design challenges
Testing creations together and sharing feedback
This balance keeps campers engaged, collaborating, and thinking creatively—without being on the computer all day.
