This special day off from school is designed for children to learn about, appreciate, and even embrace insects. Through hands-on exploration and interactive activities, your child will discover how insects impact our world in ways we simply can’t live without.
This exciting camp day includes:
- Bug Hunts: Explore the outdoors and observe insects in their natural habitat.
- Insect Life Cycle Lessons: Learn how bugs grow, change, and thrive.
- Bug-Themed Crafts: Create fun, insect-inspired art projects.
- Insect Zoo Visits: Get up close and personal with fascinating insect species.
Along the way, children will uncover common misconceptions about bugs, and develop a deeper respect and wonder for their essential roles in the ecosystem. They’ll also explore our fascinating relationship with insects—the good, the bad, and the “buggly!”
