Kids 'n Nature Story Time - Little Red Wagon Native Nursery

Constance Nye, author of “Can He Keep It?” has helped children learn about science, recreation, and the environment for a very long time. Her goal is to lead children to a deeper understanding and respect for our natural world. Alycyn Culbertson, author of “Look What Happened While I was Sleeping” has been an avid butterfly gardener and photographer for decades. She loves gardening, nature, and never misses an opportunity to share her passion. Both Connie and Alycyn will be here from 1:00 - 3:00 pm to read their fantastic stories, and to do activities with the kids. The books will be available for purchase and the authors will happily sign them.

We can’t think of a better way to conclude this “Fluttertastic” week of celebrating our pollinators, than with a release of our favorite pollinator: the butterfly. Join us as we send several different species out to carry on their important work. Butterfly release at 3pm.
