Kaleidoscope of Butterflies

Did you know a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope? Come discover the magic behind the name! Flutter into the vibrant world of Florida’s butterflies at our Kaleidoscope of Butterflies Nature Camp, where young naturalists will become true butterfly experts and advocates.

Campers will study native species, AND uncover their secret lives through creative, hands‑on activities. They’ll explore the challenges these delicate pollinators face from habitat loss to climate change, then learn how we can make a difference in our own community through citizen science and everyday stewardship. The butterfly world is full of wonder. Throughout the week, campers will meet our insect and reptile ambassador animals, and (weather permitting) every child will have the special opportunity to release a butterfly back into the wild.
