* Meet Spike - the 10-foot alligator from Croc Encounters
* Household hazardous waste collection
* Electronics recycling (2 TV’s free, additional TV’s $7)
* Medication take-back program (Expired or unwanted medication disposal)
* Document shredding by Shred 360, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Limit 5 boxes/bags per person)
* Mercury disposal (Bring old thermostats/thermometers and get a $5 gift card)
* Monofilament Collection
The Rainwater Harvesting Workshop is from 10 am to 11 am, you must preregister at this link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/4-27-19-earth-day-rainwater-harvesting-workshop-tickets-59474917078 . The cost is $40 and includes a rain barrel.
The Compost Happens Workshop is from 1 pm to 2 pm, you must preregister at this link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/4-27-19-earth-day-compost-happens-workshop-tickets-59479688349 . The cost is $35 and includes the compost unit.
Pasco County’s Earth Day Celebration is an annual event, and is a partnership among Covanta Pasco Inc.; Keep Pasco Beautiful; Pasco County Utilities; Pasco County Recycling and Education; Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources; Pasco County UF|IFAS Extension and the Pasco County School Board.
