Included with park admission, the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay speaker series, Conservation Connections, offers guests a chance to learn about the latest conservation programs from experts as they share their incredible stories of working around the world on species conservation and environmental issues.

WILDLIFE DOCS’ CONSERVATION EFFORTS IN SOUTH AFRICA

Learn about the work that Dr. Mike Burton, one of Busch Gardens’ Senior Veterinarians, and the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund have done with The Wilderness Foundation. Visiting South Africa, Dr. Burton and team primarily focused on efforts to save the white and black rhino species. The trip also included a visit to the South African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds and to Cheetah Outreach. These organizations receive funding from the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund to aid in their missions.
